Federal authorities say 43 critically missing children — some as young as 1 year old — have been rescued during a massive, multi-state sex trafficking operation.

The two-week sting was led by the U.S. Marshals Service and covered 14 counties, resulting in the arrest of nine suspects, with more charges expected. Investigators say potential charges include human trafficking, child endangerment, and custodial interference.
