Absolutely! Salt is the item I've decided to go with in abundance as my trade/barter item. You can't live without it & most don't buy extra or realize just how much of it we need.

I'm stocked, in hopefully every way, that is needed to keep my family surviving.

I went on to patriotsupply.com ... they even have a way to fill your bathtub with a liner for extra water, plus chlorine dioxide to purify ... boat a boat load of extra food ... I thought it would just be 6 months, someone else said think two years, for all to be available again, herds to grow, processing plants rebuilt, etc.

I definitely have a 2 year supply. I've bought the next 1-2 shoe sizes for walking & flip flops for my kids as well. I have barrels of water, multiple purification methods, generator, solar chargers, I'm a canner & a gardener. My chickens getting fed has me slightly worried. I tried growing sorghum this year for that purpose, but it was an epic failute. As much as we have prepped, I still worry we won't have enough for my family + helping those around us.

Shortage in grains is going to equate to shortage of feed grain for our animals as well. I'm sure its all part of their eat bugs agenda. My ladies aka hens would gladly take those bugs ;)
Maybe if you can get some pots you can start gardening from a window or balcony? Herbs go great in windows.
We have the liquid for water treatment & tablets. To be fair I'm also stocking like I'm going to need to help those around me. Even if that's teaching them what edible plants/weeds are.

Yes, the balcony if working, and the window sill ... (limited) but I bought an aero-garden for the winter greens and I'm saving bottles for sprouts in a jar.

Stashing more in boxes in my storage rooms, lots of canned goods, basic staples. It will have to work ... my neighbors are clueless (libs) and sadly they are NOW getting struck with cancer (jab) I suppose. That is going to be really bad / becoming very obvious of so many in a short time frame - the coincidence.
