FYI- commercial PINEAPPLE is artificially ripened by chemical spray also. The poor folks working the fields are some of the sickest looking people I have ever seen.

HC&S went bankrupt and phased out sugar operations. All their (stolen) land is now being divided up for "diversified agriculture" (on toxic soil). My photos are from 2011.
