If you want to piss off EVERYONE and make them want to replace the whole system (corp, gov, law, ed, media, banks, etc) — every one of those has to behave extremely badly to become widely discredited. The "comfortably well off" have to experience transformational pain.
So bank bail-ins plus a total collapse of the stock market puts someone who "went along to get along" on the same footing as someone who lost it all in bankruptcy, for instance. It's only a storm if there are floods of teardrops... sadly. We've had plenty of warning of the need to insulate ourselves from the worst.
