Been going to the same gas station for 20+ years.

In less than 5 days gas went up .22 cents in my area here in Washington State. It's now over $5 a gallon, close to $5.50 at some stations.
Is it slowing down traffic yet? Nope!
I'm near I-90 and on the rare occasions I've been out over the past week, the freeway is packed both directions as are arterials.
Wonder about the underlying situations that "appear" to be business as usual???
No sign of food shortages here, either.
Still seeing people driving alone in their car with a mask.
Very few masked at this point, however, feel many would mask up again when told to do so.
I'm old enough to remember the fake gas shortages in the 70's.
To this day I plan my travels for the most efficent use of my time and gas usage.
