Here in TN we have 100's of 1000's of ppl that live an hour or more from the work place in cities like Nashville that require a rather long morning drive some up to 2 hours one way per day.
How damn long are they even going to be able to afford to GO to work with Gas getting as high as 9$ per gallon is blue states and 5$ per gallon here?

I personally believe that if you remove the damn fight or flight daily stress of pure survival mode just for basic needs every frickin day that ppl doing the things they love to do will push us forward very quickly into new inventions daily!
People excel and thrive when they can do what they love to do and everyone is different some ppl are so damn excited about what they may create or invent in the lab tomorrow and some people just love raising animals or painting or designing buildings.
When ppl can do daily the things they love to do they will take pride in the results instead of doing the minimum required to just get paid.

At some point the fuel prices could cause an economic cascading domino effect.
In US Diesel fuel is used to deliver most of the goods including fuel. It is a component of the cost of everything including non-diesel fuel. It is my understanding that many municipal water filtration systems depend on diesel trucks to deliver and haul away.
Many are saying to have 2 weeks to a months worth of water and food for those in your families. Many canned goods packed in water can help be a part of your water need.

Nana has also been reading up on the new machines that pull water literally from the air. I really hate to buy with when I know that new technology will start rolling out once we get past this like dominos tho. the cheapest one that I have see so far is about 2k.
So families might go together for one. I think that one makes a few gallons per day.

Nana it has all almost reached the critical/flash point in SO many areas...people can not continue to survive if this keeps escalating. Their will either be an all out war in this country or drastic changes...not sure if either will be positive...but praying for goodness.

Idk my son in law used to work in a city that was only 15 to 20 min away and even back when gas was not this high it was costing him 85 to 100 week just to drive to work.

We are about 20 miles north of Nashville. We had a window repair guy here and he was telling us he drives 2 hours to get to work. These prices are horrible.

Dems want to actually DESTROY America and make everyone totally dependent on the Govt.
The transfer from a fossil fuel monetary system to Gold and different energy systems could have been done in a way that did not destroy family businesses and huge job loss along with food shortages and panic!
They are not working in our interest at all!
