As a novice to crypto... I'm asking if it's possible for Blackrock to control it all by controlling firms who offer crypto currency to the public? Still very new for me.

More likely to control it by owning a large supply.
Blackrock is using the crypto and stealing it from people using it to make land purchases. Where I live, the town has banned them from buying any more. So now they fired up under another Corporation so they could keep scoffing up the real estate. They are a total scam.
I really hate FUTURES! Going to KIBOSH their plans. They need to be taken down.
