Hypothesis: keeping patriots off mass social media and under economic hardship has saved us from being directly and physically attacked. It gave the enemy a lazy option that they took, while not actually destroying us, and hardening us for the final battle.

I'd go with this. Today I posted four thoughtful and rallying posts on TG and re-posted two others with a comment, under the 'boycott council tax' thread, and they all disappeared - within half an hour. I do think this is playing out at a controlled pace, with moves and countermoves - as per q, operating simultaneously on many levels. I think the silencing has quite possibly kept us safe, whilst battle ready for what is to come.
