By April 30th each year in this country, we're so fed up with Federal, State and County taxes. If you do well, work diligently, pay all of your bills and own your house outright - just watch out!!! Get your checkbook out and prepare to drain your savings to satisfy the deep state's insatiable appetite and then keep working and building your savings back up only to start the process all over again. Yeah that one always pissed me off the most as well. You can spend 30 years paying for your home, and then lose it because you've reached retirement age and no longer have the income you had during the 30 years you worked to pay off a mortgage.
