In this war you get to associate with the best of the best (often anonymously). There is free access to people who normally would be hidden behind layers of gatekeepers, bureacracy, and protocol. In theory many of us have positions that will be looked upon by future historians as enviable.

Yet we all face the torment of watching our friends and family engage in suicidal acts β€” a leveller of all humans. That you might have spoken to some famous person hidden behind an avatar is irrelevant. They are facing the exact same problem, even if near the apex of power.

β€œMichael Jackson, Elvis, and JFK need a hug, too” β€” perhaps coming out of this we can relate to icons as peer humans, and let go of the idol worship and cult of celebrity? I know I find it discomforting to receive, and that’s as a relative nobody. Fame doesn’t change the basis of our feelings.

πŸ˜πŸ‘Š100 percent agree. Hard times are not over, but I feel like I can breather a little better today than last year, or especially the year before.

I pray every day for a miracle for my family that are brainwashed. The pain is still there, but it gets better every day.

And, maybe someday, I can sleep through the night again.

And I realize that my dog showed up right when she needed to be there. That was a miracle in itself. She reminds me every day what is really important. Hugs, pets, doggie kisses, doggie snacks, naps, walks in the neighborhood, and dinner. Not necessarily in that order
