On Tuesday April 12, 2022, I had to put to sleep my beloved cat Squirrel. He was one of the greatest, talkative and funniest cats I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was about 13 years old when he passed. Not a long life as far as cats go but then his fire burnt bright.
He will be much missed. R.I.P Squirrel.

Had a black beauty just like him, named Merlini ... the day I had to put him down was so tough, I am so sorry for your loss, eventually you will only focus on the joys and interactions the two of you shared ... they are remarkable critters. Take care.

Thanks, I had another cat name Allegra, so named after reading about an Italian that was quite funny ... so had this Italian thing going on and when I found Merlini under a Beach house, everyone was coming up w/ magic names, finally settled on Merlin from Camelot but added an Italian-esque "i" so he would fit in. : ) Totally silly!
