Maybe I am not in a good place to comment, so I will pose it as a question: are CHINOs (Christians in name only) a bigger problem than RINOs?

&/or the "net worth" of LEADER/PASTOR is in the $ mega-mil.s, those are CAVEATS suggesting its a "wannabe", the kind whose
members have been📉 decade by decade,
as pushing the "Social Gospel" eclipsed
RESPECT for/ STUDY of/
submission to AUTHORITY of GOD,
as He has revealed Himself in Scripture.
Jesus' followers were a threat to the hierarchical religious establishment,
AND to the Roman overseers.
He stated in Scripture,
as did St. Paul in letters the the early churches,
that loving CHRIST,
taking on HIS PRIORITIES, will mean
sooner or later
"being @ enmity w/the world".
"The ends justifies the means" type
rationale does NOT work when making "excuses" to the Almighty Creator, who sees the End, even from the Beginning.
John 10:14 might have the short answer you wanted: Jesus knows his sheep & HIS sheep know Him.
