Money has to meet 6 requirements:
1) Acceptability - everyone must consider it valuable
2) Portability - gotta be able to fit it into a pocket
3) Divisibility - must be able to make into smaller pieces
4) Uniformity - 24 karats is pure gold
5) Limited Supply - hard to get that crap out of the ground
6) Durability - Has to last a long time during countless transactions
