If you only have a 60hz monitor try this...
We should cut back on pre-shredded cheese and Make America 'Grate' Again.
Windows 10 will only let me select 60 Hz
Try changing the res first then you will be able to select Hz. It will give more options. At least it did with mine.

tried changing resolution but still unable to make the change. what did you set your resolution to?
I set it to the one down from recommend which is 1680 x 1050 then it offered me another HZ
