I remember reading somewhere that man couldn't translate the name of G*d in writing accurately but his name sounded like a deep breath.

I know the Ein Sof from the Kabbalah ... the metaphor for the all-encompassing image of God. Exhaling and then pronouncing the word Eins Sof sounds like a breath...
