I’m sure of it! And those flea/tick meds are poison- how do you think the ticks and fleas die after biting? 🀬

I try to make good of use of basic natural alternatives, such as Tee Tree oil, Lavender oil, garlic tabs, ACV, pumpkin seeds, coconut oil, spirulina, various herbs, etc., works very well. Never ever vaxxed! Vet visits are rare, eg emergencies, Not regular at all.

Thank you for you reply.
I started many years ago, really slowly, gently, introducing alternatives as and when I was confident, learning & observing what serves well
I've never thought about mixing oils in my dogs feed though... very interesting. But, as I simply dribble oils straight out the bottle onto her as and when I see the need, and she does like to lick up any stray drops that go on the floor, I conclude she IS ingesting some also..lol.!
She's a Husky X, so has quite a thick coat, lots of places for pest to hide.
Re' cats and oils, I have used a little tree on my cats (on a felt type collar) 'cos it's an effective flea repellent, and I considered it less toxic then ingesting pharma drugs, or using drops, my cat does not do well at all with any pharma tabs, for worms or fleas, but was fine with a little T tree. However I'm not suggest others use it.
