I used to work for Sprint twenty years ago in Overland Park, KS. I remember going to a house party of the SVP of Marketing. At work he was one of the "big guys" who reported to the CEO, and during the peak of the mobile boom. At home his teen daughter had him wrapped around her little finger, as they are prone to do. It was a lesson in seeing the more rounded existence of people, and not just "in role".

We're finally getting around to watching 'The Sopranos'. It's a very stressful show to watch, but I think one of the main points of the series was to show this other role of the mafia - family life. It's jarring to see how quickly it goes from a scene of violence to another where they are having a discussion over the dinner table with the kids. You loathe Tony, but you feel for him when his mother is nagging him or his daughter is giving him lip.

Daphne. Jesus is my homeboy.🌻
