I'm with you, Kathy Jean. I've put away a nice nest egg so I don't have to eat cat food as an old lady. I worked, scrimped, and saved and balanced a modest life with some splurges so I can live quietly and comfortably in my retirement, and maybe help my kids and grandkids. To hear that the financial system will collapse makes me afraid that I'll lose everything I worked for and will end up eating cat food anyway.
