Since Russia is a Constitutional Republic much like the USA I would consider Putin more of an ally than a foe. I do believe that the Left with the help of the DNC uses Russia as a diversion to take peoples attention away from China, the Dems are heavily in bed with the real communist (Corporate Fascist China) so they push Putin as the bad guy.
