I suspect it will take that long for everything to be revealed, but the flood has begun already. If I were planning this whole thing, you'd begin to hear about some other "dead" person who faked it to prepare you to accept the idea.
For example, DOD just introduced people to the idea that false flags are a legitimate tool used by states to justify military action. So now, if we get evidence that the US government used a false flag in the past, the public is primed to absorb that information.
Until they've "greased the skids" on this topic, I'd be surprised if he popped up.
