Good point to make. Becuase he did not travel entire world from our view, perhaps from theirs they did (of what was known).

From my limited knowledge, he traveled for approximately a dozen years of his life. I know he went to Egypt, but really couldn't tell you how long he was there for. I believe he was also receiving information from philosophers as well. "GateKeepers" from old in some ways (at least my opinion).
