I've been there for YEARS, dear!
I don't go to rallies because there are never any near where I live.
I am not a "joiner," preferring to contribute to society in my own little spontaneous ways.
I abhor violence, but that does not mean that I am not capable of committing VERY NASTY CAREFULLY PRACTICED VIOLENCE against anyone threatening my individual sovereignty or that of my family.
I have learned to embrace & be grateful to my "inner monster." Fortunately, he's only had to come out twice in my life.
On each occasion, it was because somebody refused to LEAVE ME ALONE.
On each occasion, the agitators left bleeding, with pieces of their body missing.
And I'm just an "old lady" of 60 years, LOL.
