He spent 30 Days in the hospital and survived. Try to find a patient advocate they can help navigate through the chain of command at the hospital.

But can you bring food and or liquids to the front desk and have the staff give to him

Make arrangements with another Dr. and get the law involved if you have to. Seems like kidnapping or unlawfully detained to me.
