I have had a few visits at night from shady people. My husband opened the door as i held my dog back from biting them. They were shocked when they saw my husband and fled. FBI visited my husband at work too which is a common thing. BUT i husband said "I hope this isnt about my wife and Q" hahaha and the agent said "Oh I love Q" ya right. My husband would never tell me what to think or do. He's a Dem and I didn't buy him a let's go Brandon hat for Christmas.

I do not talk to strangers any more who come to my door, and most of the time I do not open the door because of the shady side of strangers in this covid scamdemic world. Sometimes we get people that cannot speak proper english saying they want us to take a survey. Well, no surveys taken in my home, and go away forever!

I do not give out any info either. Even if it is a nazi dactor at a neighborhood picnic going around asking people if they got vaxxed yet. That actually happened to me this spring, and I just play dumb and rush off and warn my friends about the person. I mean, who asks private questions to people at a social gathering? If I am a guest at someone's home, I am diplomatic so I do not cause a scene, but anyone else is fair game to a lecture on privacy.😆

woah... I would have called the city for information about the arrow. I am that nosy now, and have called the city many times to ask questions because I assume they do things, and then find out it is not a city thing later on, but a private entity.

I got pissed at a family member who likes to talk because after the 2020 election a stranger came around asking about the neighborhood and the election and who voted for what, and why no one had elections signs in their yard (against homeowner rules). And the blabby mouth told this guy stuff about how we are mostly a red neighborhood, and some other things, and did not really ask who and why he was around knocking on doors to ask questions.

I was really pissed when I found out. If people ask me things and I do not know them, I turn it around and ask them questions and tell them I do not like private questions asked of me, and to go away. I am not afraid to be rude.

We all have to be careful with strangers that are soliciting for whatever reason. A guy walked up to me one night as I was pumping gas. As he got about 8 feet from me, I told him to stop and not come any closer. Better safe than sorry. After a few visits, the Jehovah's Witnesses no longer knock on my door. Told them I was doing just fine, and they should spent their efforts on all the homeless walking the streets.

yes, we have them here also, but we learned a few years back when everyone in the neighborhood had to get a new roof from a hurricane. the roofers were swarming, and many were gypsies looking to scam people. I had to call the police on one of them because he refused to leave and insisted on going on my roof, and I wanted him to go away. The police dealt with him and said he would be trespassed if he came back.

My neighbor across the street hired one of the solar panel teams, and they did not get a permit, and the entire thing had to be torn down and the brand new roof fixed because of no permit. Now her new roof looks like crap. Electrical could not be done by Duke Energy because of no permit. Neighbor learned a lesson.

yea for sure now its the window guys i never been one to knock anyone working at any job but it gets ridiculous half of them no badge or proper work attire etc i often get worried when the mrs is at home with my little man but i got two dogs just to deteer them
