There is an age old protocol regarding firearms on movie sets all of which must have been ignored. Here’s my perspective on the many things that went wrong.
THIS is exactly why firearm safety training should be required for EVERYONE on the set and ONLY Armorers with a solid reputation of integrity should be handling the guns. And why anti-gun actors should NEVER be allowed to use guns in their movies.
There is NO such things as an 'accidental' shooting; it is ALWAYS do to carelessness, ignorance, or both. ONe is injured and another is dead because someone else's gross negligence... unless it was a hit job...
