God and Country! Twitter for over a decade, purged from FB. I hunt breaking news and crave truth. Blessed to be here.
Not 30 miles west from me is a small college town who is still buried in standing water with no electricity. They are quoting 2 weeks out still. NOLA was spared in comparison to Katrina, but the 'western' part of La. was heavily damaged. So yes, the devastation is very real for parts of our state.
