Also IRAs are safe as long term, but concerned for older Patriots who don't have as much time to recoup, like our parents.

Sorry, no idea about these things. But since i have a couple IRA's, what do you consider long term? Would it be better to cash in and pay the 20 % penalty?
Exactly what i need to know. So confused. Certainly would not want to lose all of our retirement.
