The millennium the Bible describes begins when Jesus 'descends from heaven with a shout' (1Ths4:16,18) at His 2nd coming to gather His faithful, both the resurrected dead and those who 'remain alive' up 'in the air' and take us back with Him *to heaven* where He promised the disciples He was going 'to prepare a place for us' in His Father's house 'of many mansions'.
