The CDC’s opinion is just that...an OPINION. The CDC does NOT make laws. Thankfully, people are finally realizing that even the CDC’s opinon isn’t worth much.
As an RN for 50 years, I can tell you the CDC has gained enormous power over regulating agencies, hospital protocols, etc. I have experienced their growing influence over the years. Couple that with insurance companies and all their rules, Big Pharma and their influence,and it is a bureaucratic mess. I pray medical care will return to a more whole patient/ holistic approach where doctors and nurses can be true to their calling. Not so burdened with bureaucratic red tape and endless paperwork, redundant charting, and illogical rules that interfere with efficiency.
