Psalm 37:4
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Get insurance with God and do a good deed, settle down and stick to your last. Keep company with God, get in on the best.

Every person & everything in this world will have a start date and an end date.

The only everlasting thing in this plane of existence is God, The Most High.

Be very careful what we wish for. The very thing we think we want, may not be what we need.

Sometimes we ask for things we are not ready to receive...

What we ask God for now, maybe the very same thing we ask Him to take away later...

Delighting ourselves in the Most High is putting Him first, which is making Him the source of our validation, joy, happiness, power, inspiration, and being content (long-term peace & happiness).

Once the LORD sees we have put Him first, not just in word but in deed, then He will send us the desires of our heart, most likely before we even think to ask for it.
