Inwardness and outwardness.
Some people are selfish and draw in, taking from others, draining those around them, inwardness; some people are selfless and flow out, giving themselves to others, enriching those around them, outwardness.
Inwardness is wanting, focused on self, the constancy of it is an irritation that makes them impatient and quick to anger; outwardness is giving, focused on others, promoting patience, empathy, compassion and forgiveness.
