The word 'sea' is a translation error. The original word in the text means 'chaos' > chaos=war etc., will be no more.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Yes A flood of [Chaos] indeed.
Yes, and it has nothing to do with the real sea. I quess it will stay the same. But there are more translation errors in the bible. For example in the NT, there is a tekst that says (Jesus): 'I came to bring you the sword...' > an error also, cause the tekst really says: 'I came to bring you joy and prosperity'!!!. The Book of Kells has that tekst right translated. Now if we look at the source of the tekst, we see a word that can have a lot of meanings. The translator did a divergent pic. Remember, the tekst is translated around the so called/named Holy wars to conquer the land around Jerusalem. So in that period they chose the word they wanted it to be. If you look at the list of John A Halloran, you wil find for the symbol 'UG' also more meanings> UG4,5,7,8 = to kill, to die UG6 = amazement, glance, to shine, to prosper. Totaly different from each other. So they took the wrong meaning. So 'Joy and prosperity' which offcourse fitts much better in the sphere of the NT.π
