Common Core Math has been “designed to fail.” In other words, the goal is not to improve math instruction. It is to destroy math instruction and therefore increase the chances that students will fail.
We hold these truths to be self evident, all men are created equal, endowed by their creator with rights to life, liberty and happiness.
For all the difference it makes, just know that NOT ONE teacher was asked for input or even got the chance to approve Common Core before implementation, NOT ONE. Common Core was a backroom signed, sealed, and delivered curriculum between Governors and school superintendents, many of whom sent the superintendents to China to learn how to implement Common Core. Thank Bill Gates and many of our Governors. Mike Pompeo knows exactly what Governors are to blame because he called them out.
The use of Common Core has done more to destroy our schools and out youth than any policy could ever have.
TEACHERS, WALK AWAY. Yeah, I know it's hard. If enough of you teachers would walk away, things would change. One or two teachers walking out won't make much of a difference. They just replace us with others that will do China's bidding. You can make a huge impact but you have to be willing make sacrifices that are unpleasant. WALK AWAY!!!!
That is our problem no doubt. Teachers need to stand up like the guy in the original post. Not because it is easy, because it is the right thing to do.
Our self-serving government have removed the pledge of allegiance, promoted racism and confused our children on their very gender without our permission. No wonder the teachers have failed to teach critical thinking through the use of Math, English, and Science.
These mistakes need corrected. Our constitution is written in cursive writing which is no longer required to be taught. Our basic constitutional rights should be taught in our public schools as well.
We have to fight back every step of the way. The teachers, reporters, doctors, leaders, superintendents, and so on. There is no other way...

We all have choices. When teachers walked out over more money, when they should have walked out over mind programming, they showed who they were. Any teacher knows Common Core (CC) doesn't work. It was never meant to work. It was meant to make children feel depressed and stupid because they couldn't learn. Whether it's reading, math or science, CC perpetuated lies and left many students to feel hopelessly lost. Teachers should have STOOD UP then and demanded change. They chose more money so they made the same deal actors made in Hollywood; money over principle.
Now in every classroom (depending on locality), you'll find Social Emotional Learning (teaching what to think), No Nonsense Nurturing (grooming for their life of servitude), Sex Ed (it's okay to masturbate, and same sex education), and White Privilege training.
Teachers could have stood up against all this. They wanted more money instead.
