Common Core Math has been “designed to fail.” In other words, the goal is not to improve math instruction. It is to destroy math instruction and therefore increase the chances that students will fail.

For all the difference it makes, just know that NOT ONE teacher was asked for input or even got the chance to approve Common Core before implementation, NOT ONE. Common Core was a backroom signed, sealed, and delivered curriculum between Governors and school superintendents, many of whom sent the superintendents to China to learn how to implement Common Core. Thank Bill Gates and many of our Governors. Mike Pompeo knows exactly what Governors are to blame because he called them out.
The use of Common Core has done more to destroy our schools and out youth than any policy could ever have.
TEACHERS, WALK AWAY. Yeah, I know it's hard. If enough of you teachers would walk away, things would change. One or two teachers walking out won't make much of a difference. They just replace us with others that will do China's bidding. You can make a huge impact but you have to be willing make sacrifices that are unpleasant. WALK AWAY!!!!
