Love this☝🏼!
It would just be nice to find more like me in person... I cherish our online social community but the physical isolation can wear a soul down 😔

I have felt that way for a very long time. I stayed home with my kids to homeschool them and since my husband didn't make a lot of money, it alienated me from many people who were more concerned about what my husband did for a living than just coming over for company. I used to always think how nice it would have been for someone to come by and have a cup of coffee. I live in a very small town and the Christian homeschoolers here were very elitist. I have a degree in Accounting and could have made a very nice income but I needed to homeschool. The other moms did not even have college degrees but judged me by my simple, small scale living style. My kids are in college now and I still feel alone as most people around me do not know what is going on. They hate Trump, love socialism and are all in masks. Wish I had people I could talk to in person!

It is happening to many people. We are the quiet ones. It is why we are called the silent majority. We live and let live. We do not follow the traveled path, but the road less traveled. I have come to realize that I must have asked God before I was born for this exact journey because I always pick the road less traveled for some reason. It is because I see life so differently from others. Definitely through spiritual eyes and from karma. Your sacrifices for your children will save future generations from ignorance and apathy. You are a lion, not a sheep. I hate it when people tell me what do do because it is convenient for themselves but bad for me. I will fight for my rights.

Thank you for saying this. I am now working full time and it seems that every person I talk to does NOT understand anything. I feel like a foreigner. Everyone wanted to tell me why I shouldn't homeschool, even though I never asked for their opinion, and I would never tell them they should not send their kids to public school, even though I believed that. When I say I stayed home with my kids the usual response is, "That's nice that you had the luxury to do that." They do not know the financial hardship we endured, but made it happen. These are people who MUST have the latest car, technology, clothes, etc. I still live simply because I am happier that way. My kids and I are very close. Even Christian co-workers whom I thought were my friend backed away when I shared the election fraud. One person incredulously said, "Trump's your guy?!" They didn't care about the fraud or anything else I shared. I shared vax dangers with my mgr and she recommended I get counseling through EAP.

It just occurred to me now.. Everyone asks me at work why I am so quiet. It's because I can't talk to anyone. It feels threatening when so many people are hostile to people who think like me.

We hold these truths to be self evident, all men are created equal, endowed by their creator with rights to life, liberty and happiness.

lol. As a teacher, I hear you. It's not easy working in an environment where so many are completely brainwashed and taking their little vaccines. And they bait you with questions so they can gossip, and take your conversations totally out of context. You know what??? I don't care. I stayed in teaching as long as I could but it was the hateful rhetoric, the demand for vaccine cards, and the constant badgering from school officials because I wasn't mask compliant or willing to "voluntarily" submit to vaccines before they imposed them anyway that ended my teaching career.
Yeah, I kept to myself, but that's what they didn't like. Actions speak louder than words (good or bad). When you don't go with the flow, they have to guess what you're thinking, but when you refuse masks and vaccines, you must be a Trump supporter. They can't have that.
Let the DEAD bury their DEAD. I will not comply with masks or vaccines.

The gossip and backstabbing is horrible where I work. I have always minded my own business and there are some who have tried to get into my space pretending to be a friend only to run back and talk all about me. They think I am weird because I am clearly not like everyone else. I just go to my desk and do my job. Fortunately I have a lot to do, but these people are STUPID. Always posturing to pretend they know things they don't.

I have had jobs like that. I kept my head down and worked my bootie off, and decided to be successful. I do not ever let co-workers sidetrack me with their bullshit, especially when they ask me too many personal questions that have nothing to do work. I work with them, but do not want to know them that well. If you find someone at work you trust, that is rare. I do not like nosy questions. Those people side-track to disguise that they are not doing what they should be doing. Minding their own business, haha.

These people are very jealous because they see me quietly advancing and they see that I know more than they do. I worked my way through college and had good experience before staying home and before this job, so I know my stuff. They are just idiots playing the govt game. Working in govt they will never learn anything. They will just get promoted and pretend to know when they don't know anything. They "kid" who is fiscal manager told me his job is a lot less technical than mine and that my job is over his head. This is how govt operates. Hire the idiots who will do what they are told and pay them a lot of money so they will never leave because they can't find a job anywhere else.
