Is his voice always like that?
This is in recent years that he's developed spasmodic dysphonia, a "neurological disorder that causes involuntary spasms of the larynx".
He's such a fighter. Just had a hip replacement earlier this year. He's going thru a lot but continues to make his presence and voice heard.
