I've worked as a Network Specialist and I recently explained how data copies when the hard drive changes to the same pattern of ones and zeros. The highly eduated 28 year old IT pro couldn't grasp it. When I explained to him NNTP, and binary files in text email, he looked at me like I was Harry Potter.
