If someone is going to consider themselves awake and a critical thinker, then you must understand that paganism is largely based on the natural elements. Spring is the time of fertility and renewal - hence the rabbit and eggs. If humans twist it into evil then that's on them. To be a Christian is more than rhetoric. Nature is the wondrous manifestation of God's creation.
