In her case she would be granted citizenship based on the concept of "jus soli" meaning she was born on U.S. soil even if her parents are foreign. This is why so many ILLEGALS come over pregnant to the U.S. If they give birth on U.S. soil the baby would be a U.S. citizen.

True...but in this case neither her mother or father wanted to be a U.S. citizen. He is Jamaican and her mother was Indian.
