Okay, but as I understand it, even if the parents are not/were not legal citizens of America, any baby born in America (anchor baby) is granted American citizenship. In her case she would be granted citizenship based on the concept of "jus soli" meaning she was born on U.S. soil even if her parents are foreign. This is why so many ILLEGALS come over pregnant to the U.S. If they give birth on U.S. soil the baby would be a U.S. citizen.
