not disagreeing, but children also need to be taught morals, virtues, values, faith, kindness to others, the sanctity of life, patriotism, the importance of family. so many parents fall into the trap of thinking they will wait and let their kids decide their beliefs when they are older. believe me, folks, they are going to do that anyway. if you miss the opportunity to teach your children, and give them a solid foundation when they are young, they will be selfish predatory monsters when grown. parents are crucial. your kids are going to make mistakes, but you really want them to think twice about doing something that is going to disappoint their mother!
