buy whole spices from local sources and not powdered spices from anywhere, even locally! buy fresh turmeric root rather than turmeric powder! most of the Indian subcontinent water table has been heavily contaminated by Industry and by the 600 milllion open defecation and crops pick up lead among other unblissful elements from the water table!
powders are like colonel sanders spices ,, dirth from belly button , dont trust !! lol
