i worked from age 15 to 41, full time even when i was in high school and college. I worked hard as a RN until i got injured and became disabled. the last year i worked i made $55,000. But my Social Security Disability is not enough to barely scrape by. Much less than the $2400 mentioned.

Exactly , When i was a Nurse for 26 years and CNA for 4 years i seen i can not tell you how many patients that could not afford their medication that was on SSD and worked their entire lives paying into the system that is not near enough to live on it makes me sick
