Today is the anniversary of the rescue of 28 children from a false orphanage (shell organization) in Haiti that was selling children for 10-15k each.

It was special for a couple reasons.

1. It was@ourrescue’s first preventative strike, meaning none of the children had been sexually abused, though they were for sale to any possible, disgusting buyer.

Our operation prevented more severe abuse.

And 2. Among these children were two that I especially connected with, and ultimately (by orders of my beautiful wife) we adopted.

As there was no birth documentation for these children, the Haitian government decided to assign the date of their liberation as their birth date.

Happy “Birth Day” to these 28 beautiful children! And especially to my kids. I love you two SO much! You have changed our lives forever and brought a light to our home that I never could have imagined.
