I believe that intent would be needed behind things like that. So keep sharing your laughter and do not let them taint a common joyful abbreviation. When I speak with my Brazilian friends they use "Kkkkkkkkkkkk" for laughing 😉 so if you are more comfortable not utilizing lol you could try thay. Just don't do three Ks haha
