as a lifelong Texan this cold spell is unprecedented....the length of this storm Statewide is definitely odd.....still under freezing in my small town in Central Texas.....5th day...snow and ice in middle February.......again....unprecedented.....
I'm a few hours north in Kansas, we typically schedule our bass fishing trips around this time for prespawn. Cold fronts usually come in waves and only last a couple days tops. Usually after it gets cold the next day is bright and sunny from the high pressure moving in. The sun has barely even came out here.
