also did some digging on the tail numbers of some of the planes "bidan" has been riding. he boarded a757 with tail number 90017 painted in the normal 89th airlift colors. that particular plane was bought by the air force from aero mexico in 2012, and is not one of the four typically used for vip travel, those being 98-0001, 98-0002, 99-0003, 99-0004. that same plane (17) left Andrews tonight shortly after vc-25A 82-8000 (747) took off for Milwaukee. 90017 probably bound for Madison as that is where they hold the backup plane. neither used call sign AF1, and why 90017 instead of 82-9000

I guess the point with that was, if you take one 747, why not take the other as the back up as is typical protocol. ik they keep the other in madison at the air base there when the preznis visiting milwaukee, i live not too far from madison and have seen it there before. so where is the 2nd one tonight? Why not bring both instead of bringing a second hand 757 as the backup craft.
