Some Canadian doctors are pushing to allow euthanasia for newborns!

The Quebec College of Physicians is on the record promoting euthanasia for babies, and Health Canada has been funding a research project that discusses possibly euthanizing children with autism.
Canada could be one step closer to allowing euthanasia, or so-called “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAID), as it’s known, for newborns, should a provincial medical college get its way.
The Quebec College of Physicians is on record suggesting that “medical assistance in dying may be an appropriate treatment for babies suffering from extreme pain.”
The College added that “parents should have the opportunity to obtain this care for their infant.”
Allowing euthanasia for newborns is not a new idea in Canada. In 2022, a Quebec College of Physicians member, Louis Roy, said at a Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying that the procedure could be allowed for “babies from birth to one y

my comment was not for us as we are prolife as you stated. it represents a statement for those anti life. throw it back in that way it shocks them.. even the most disabled at birth even with a few minutes on this earth as an independant human has a reason for being. as a former OB nurse. trust me most dont even embrace those few moments in such an event. even the mother or father.. so sad.. even as i transported them to the morgue i hugged and prayed for their souls and told them they were loved.. this was years ago. before i became more spiritual.. i feel so blessed to have been able to be there to mourn for these babies.
