ASELSAN, Turkiye's leading defense company, was showcasing its range of underwater acoustic systems at World Defense Show (WDS) 2026 in Saudi Arabia. Ahmet Akyol, the CEO of Aselsan, introduces the DÜFAS family of active / passive towed sonar, and the aselBUOY passive sonobuoy, and their respective application in unmanned systems.

Mr Akyol also discusses how ASELSAN and the Turkish Navy are cooperating in the field of AI machine learning for acoustic signature processing.
