Wow, like I needed anything else to go wrong in this dump. I've been fighting the toilet flushing for 2 months. Put everything down the toilet for main lines, septic, etc. It's obvious the septic tank is full. I just had to clean up a nasty overflow all over my floor. Yuk!
Our POTUS and Military need to get off the pot and help us elderly. I cannot afford to move. Section 8 has a long waiting list, I mean YEARS. So that is out of the question. I'm stuck living in these nasty living conditions and can't say anything to the landlord or she tells me to move, because she isn't going to fix anything. It's been that way for 14 years. And she believes since Covid caused rent to go up, she should be getting $300 a month more for this dump. She wants my whole SS check! I wouldn't have survived this long fixing this house if it weren't for me selling puppies. The house is falling apart, everywhere. She is lucky to be getting what I'm paying.

No electricity in half the house, septic full, kitchen sink backing up in the bathroom, roof leaking in the closet and mold on the ceiling. Mold grows on the outside corners by the floor because of the dampness (this house is cinder blocks). When it is humid outside the floors stay wet from sweat. and believe me, they are slick. She really got mad when I took the rent and replaced the gas wall heater myself, but I waited two winters heating with electric heaters and nearly froze. Nothing on the floors but concrete. Carport was attached to the house, but when the roof blew off the front, she told me "that isn't included in your rent". I have no place to store anything, because there is only one closet here and it leaks. I have been threatened with a rent increase every time I've asked her to repair something. This is so unfair.
